His Story the Musical is a collaboration of the vision and talent of Christians from all walks of life from all over the globe. The writer and producers of the project served as missionaries to Ukraine through Horizon Christian Fellowship in Indianapolis, Indiana, and now worship at Kauai Christian Fellowship in Hawaii. This project is independent of any particular Christian denomination. We simply want to share the story of Jesus through music and drama.
Anna Miriam Brown
Gifted songwriter Anna Miriam Brown, 18, is the writer of His Story the Musical, a theatrical production of the life of Jesus Christ with a sound many compare with the Hip-Hop of "Hamilton", emotional melodies of "Dear Evan Hansen", and orchestral beauty of Disney's "Alan Menken".
A dyslexic unable to read or write before 9 years old, Brown majored early in the arts as a homeschooler, before starting to pen her first songs as a 15-year-old. During a missionary trip to Africa, she started to assemble the songs which would become the musical. As a teenager who understands the power of social media, Brown sees an opportunity to reach her generation with the timeless story of light and hope. She says, “My heart for this project is to inspire curiosity about the Bible and to clearly and beautifully present the gospel in a way that doesn’t force Jesus down people’s throats, but instead clearly shows His character so that people will understand who He is and want to know Him personally.”
Music and recording professionals from around the world collaborated to produce HIS STORY, including the legendary Wendy Waldman’s Longhouse studios in LA, award-winning Christian singer Christine Dente’ as editor and consultant, medalist Atom String Quartet in Europe, and noted creative genius producer and pianist Pawel Zarecki in Warsaw, Poland.
Anna Miriam Brown sings the part of Mary. Gabriel Brown (a.k.a Black Gryph0n), who provided voice talent on many movie and TV productions including Pixar’s “Finding Dory” and has over a million subscribers on YouTube, sings the part of Peter, Satan, an angel and a Pharisee. Jamal Moore sings the part of Jesus, who has performed on TV and toured extensively, and emotive LA native Revel Day opens up the title number rapping the part of Matthew.
A couple comments from listeners:
“These songs evoke emotions and I had tears while listening. They bring you into each character’s fears, doubts, and excitement. Classical, Hip-Hop, rap, and Top 40; a beautiful marriage of old and new style.”
“I’m agnostic, but this song is absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait for the full release.”
HIS STORY is only the debut of many creative musical works by Anna Miriam Brown. She is already well along in writing yet another biblical musical, as well as a full album of pop love songs, all of which carry her unique mark of lyrical deftness and “get stuck in your head” melodies which stir the heart.
We believe in one God, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and was made human.
He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried.
The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life. He proceeds from the Father and the Son, and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.
That’s the best description of what happened when I first loaded up a video clip from Anna Miriam Brown’s His Story the Musical.
The maturity and artist skill in musical composition, the lyrical writing, the high production level and the keen Spiritual insight into not just the factual but emotional elements in the Gospel narrative seemed impossible to be coming from a young woman just turning eighteen. (Aren’t kids this age supposed to be messing with their phone and working on their wardrobe instead of writing a terrific musical?)
I highly recommend this body of work as a fitting tribute to the One who stepped on to earth to take on a debt He didn’t incur. And I think this musical is prima facie evidence of the fingerprints and imagination that the Creator leaves behind using the hands of a young woman committed to Him. Listen NOW and get gob smacked yourself.

I was riveted!
From the first song I heard of His Story the Musical I was riveted! Anna Miriam Brown has done an exceptional job of capturing the heart and emotion behind Biblical characters and the stories surrounding Jesus’ ministry on earth. In listening to these songs I sense the heart of God, I sense Jesus’ heart for the people He touched while on this earth, and I sense His heart for humanity today. I can, with confidence, recommend this beautiful and well-written musical to you, believing you will be impacted by the songs it contains and the message it conveys.
I have known the Brown family for nearly 20 years and have been blessed to see them faithfully following and serving the Lord wherever He leads them. Seeing how God has developed their talent to spread the Biblical Gospel is truly a blessing. I believe God will use His Story the Musical in churches, homes, and individual lives. Take a listen to this musical and spread the word to others, so that more people can be touched by the life-changing message of Jesus Christ and God’s love for them.
